Spanish Conversation (Advanced)

This is a friendly group meeting twice a month to practise Spanish conversation. Members take it in turns to choose a topic and facilitate a discussion, usually based on a reading or text, which we might first read aloud, checking on unfamiliar vocabulary or expressions.

We then discuss the issues raised and veer off happily on tangents. We also spend some time each session exchanging news or talking about current affairs.

We have been known to tackle occasional grammar exercises and we have even read a short story together, but our main aim is to improve our conversational skills.

Experience or skill level required is intermediate to advanced. You have to be able to hold a conversation, albeit with some errors.
