Play Reading

We tackle a different play each month, reading Act 1 in the first session and Act 2 in the second. Plays are selected with enough characters to ensure everyone gets a good read.

We read a wide variety of plays - comedies, light dramas, modern classics, thrillers, farces - nothing too heavy.

We are a sociable group who meet to enjoy a good read and chat about shows and plays we've seen, all in a convivial atmosphere. After each reading we enjoy tea and biscuits at the host's venue.
