French Conversation Advanced

We start each session with informal chat about events in our own lives and matters of topical interest - so get to know each other quite well! We then usually read and discuss a topic or article suggested by one of the group and sometimes watch clips direct from www.franceinfo.fr followed up with discuassion of any issues raised by the reports.

The group is coordinated by one person rather than led, with shared responsibility among members for providing material and maintaining conversation.

You will need a good degree of fluency to participate in conversation, which is held in French, and the ability to follow and discuss the newscasts.

The venue rotates between the homes of those members who are able to host, so meetings may be in Lymington, Sway, Milford-on-Sea, or Brockenhurst.
