Art Appreciation (2)

We are an informal group who discuss a variety of artists, art works or art movements chosen each month by our members. Group members take it in turn to lead the discussion with a simple presentation.

We have covered a variety of topics including the artists, Eric Ravilious, John Singer Sargent, and Bruegel; aboriginal and Māori art; ‘my favourite painting’; and the theme of ‘flaming June’.

We occasionally visit and discuss exhibitions held at the St Barbe Gallery and further afield.
