A coach trip to the famous Swannery (the World’s only colony of managed Mute Swans) where we will arrive in time for refreshments and to look around before watching the 12 noon mass feeding. After that we have a very short ride to the Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Gardens. There is a café where you can choose to have lunch at any time, or you may prefer to bring a picnic. This 30 acre garden, established in 1765, has various national plant collections and champion trees, plus a plant centre and gift shop.
This trip is organised by the Garden Appreciation Group but is open to all Lymington u3a members
The cost is £36.50 per person to include coach, driver’s tip and entry to both the Swannery and the Sub-Tropical Gardens. Coach leaves M&S car park at 9am. We plan to return at about 4pm and be back in Lymington at approx. 5.30pm.
BOOKING DETAILS have been sent by email to all Lymington u3a members
